About GDL

Born out of a rebellion against the mundane, The Glory Days League, emerged from a collective frustration with the lackluster structure of traditional city rec leagues. Founded by a group of "semi" or perhaps "formerly" competitive ball players, we sought to create an environment where fun and good vibes take precedence on the softball field. In a world tired of unbalanced competition and arbitrary league structures, we stand as a beacon for misfits, oddballs, and has-beens who believe they've still got it. Our mission is to blend the thrill of competitive softball with an inclusive, fun atmosphere—where hitting a ball with a stick is more than just a game but a gateway to new friendships, exercise (hopefully without injury), and shared laughter.
